Check the Framing
Look for square corners, straight walls, and properly spaced studs. This is the skeleton of your home, so it’s worth a close look before drywall goes up.
Look at the Rough-Ins
Before walls are closed in, you can see exactly where your plumbing, electrical, and HVAC lines run. Confirm outlet locations, light switch placement, and fixture rough-ins match your plans.
Inspect the Windows and Doors
Check that units are level, plumb, and properly flashed. Gaps or uneven reveals around the frame are worth flagging early.
Ask About the Timeline
Use your walkthrough as a chance to ask what’s happening next, what’s coming up, and whether anything has shifted since your last update.
